I will dominate 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Ex twice world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Mentality

"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the novice is still one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As both boxers engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
